Trails
To develop and sustain Scotland as a premier riding destination we help ensure that the right trails are in the right place, and built and managed by the right people.
Following a successful and competitive process the committee has been formed for the Scottish Enduro Association. Find out more and meet the new committee who will be responsible for driving forward enduro racing in Scotland in 2025 and beyond.
Following a successful and very competitive process, the committee has been formed for the Scottish Enduro Association.
The association is chaired by Frazer Coupland, one of the founders of successful events company, No Fuss Events, which ran the Scottish Enduro Series from 2014 to 2021. With a vast knowledge of event organisation, he also has years of experience of chairing organisations, including the Highland Tourism Partnership, and is currently the CEO of West Highland Chamber of Commerce.
Frazer Coupland, SEA Chair
Our goal as a committee is to work with the mountain bike community, riders, trails association, event organisers and builders to boost the number of enduro events in Scotland, and if there is enough commissaires available progress towards a national series.” said Frazer Coupland, Scottish Enduro Association Chair. I know first-hand the world-class trails, passionate riders, and the unparalleled natural backdrop we have in Scotland and how it’s the perfect environment to take enduro racing to the next level in the UK and beyond.
The Scottish Enduro Association will work with key stakeholders in Scotland to help develop a community-led and sustainable enduro calendar that Scotland can be proud of.
Enduro events are, perhaps uniquely, able to really work with communities in our best riding destinations to help them benefit from the positive impacts of mountain biking. I am personally passionate about ensuring any events that are supported by the Scottish Enduro Association leave the communities and trails they touch in better condition than before, fostering a positive and sustainable impact.
The committee has assembled a diverse team of skilled members, including Jamie Edmondson (elite rider and former Enduro World Series Junior Series winner), representatives from Scotland’s largest cycling club, key figures from trail associations, and volunteers with extensive industry experience—all contributing to the committee’s strategic vision and goals.

The committee members and the staff at Scottish Cycling and DMBinS would like to thank all those who came forward with excellent applications. Interested parties are invited to register at www.ses-mtb.co.uk for further information on upcoming opportunities to get involved in running or competing at events.
The Association welcomes anyone with an interest in developing the enduro scene in Scotland to consider applying to the committee in the future when roles are advertised, and supporting events when they come to their area. Discussions with venues and event partners are well underway for a nationwide calendar of events throughout 2025 and we’ll be releasing further details of this shortly.
While not directly involved in the project, the owner and operator of the former Enduro World Series and organisers of the 2022 Scottish Enduro Series, WBD Sports, will support the new association through the donation of race equipment and marketing assets, including historic SES branding and social media channels.
WBD Sports remains fully supportive of the Scottish Enduro Association committee and its mission to develop local grassroots mountain bike racing in Scotland.
