Rider2Leader - Further opportunities to move towards your MTB leadership goals.
We love our Rider2Leader, women specific mountain bike leadership programmes, all courses for 2022 are full but we have the first of our 2023 dates scheduled in!
Our Rider2Leader courses are specially for you if you love the idea of becoming a mountain bike leader but just lack the confidence to take that step to formal training.
They are really popular, as a result we do have an application process and we use your answers not only to inform us on the content of the days (we tailor them to your needs, so no two courses are the same) but also to help us understand on a wider scale the concerns, preconceptions and misconceptions that surround these awards.
The Courses are delivered by women for women, we get great feedback and they also produce results!
Bearing in mind those folk who come on these courses choose them because they are really nervous about making that first step to formal training, we would be chuffed if just a handful of you went onto training and then assessment. But it's not just a handful - over 1/3 of all those who come along then feel confident enough to go and get qualified!
What is really exciting is that a number of those qualified over the last few years have not stopped at Level 2 but have gone onto Level 3 too!
So if you are considering embarking on the British Level 2 Mountain Bike Leadership training or if you are already Level 2 qualified and would really like to get a taster of Level 3 then read on - we have just the opportunities for you!

Rider2Leader Ranking it Up is for all you aspiring Level 3 leaders and takes place at Glenmore Lodge. We would need you to have your own bike (ideally full suss) in good working order, your own PPE and be able to ride the majority of red trails at a trail centre with relative ease. The riding on this course is harder and longer than the R2L but you would expect that as this is the preparation course for Level 3 Leadership Training. We would want you to commit to both days.
Cost is £25 for the whole weekend (this doesn't actually cover our costs but it does contribute to them and that is important). We provide tea and coffee making facilities, you will need to bring your own food and arrange accommodation if you need it.

Comrie Croft have offered us use of their amazing venue for the third Rider2Leader this year, which will run on the 20th and 21st of October 2022. This course will be for aspiring Level 2 Mountain Bike Leaders. We would need you to have your own bike (full suss or hardtail) in good working order, your own PPE and be able to ride red trails at a trail centre reasonably comfortably. We would also want you to commit to both days.
