Isla's home turf

I firmly believe in the benefits of mountain biking to rural and communities alike, and I am delighted to be part of a project to secure trails for current and future generations.
I have ridden mountain bikes since the early 90’s and have enjoyed riding throughout the world.
In 2015 I qualified as a mountain bike leader and ran a successful mountain bike business which showed me the need for clear and simple processes to allow mountain bikers and landowners to work together. Having created and directed a community trail association, I am inspired by the sense of pride and place that a local trail network can bring to a community.
Seeing a group of people working together to create a place to enjoy drives me to work with riders and landowners to make sustainable trails more accessible to a wider range of people.
