Nominate the person in your community, whom you believe contributes more to the local MTB scene than anyone else. Without whom things just wouldn't happen. The nominations will then be reviewed by an independent panel, with a shortlist of 3 announced in the run up to the Awards.
The Local Hero Award recognises an individual who has gone above and beyond to support, inspire, and grow mountain biking in their community. This award celebrates the grassroots champions — the people who make a big difference, often without seeking recognition.
This award celebrates a community-led project that has made a positive and lasting impact on mountain biking in Scotland. Projects can include trail development, events, education, inclusion programmes, youth engagement, sustainability initiatives, or any community-driven effort that strengthens the MTB community.
