We are blessed in Scotland with so many exceptional mountain bike destinations. Superb hospitality, welcoming accommodation and of course, an incredible trail network that is appreciated by visitors from across the world. These awards will celebrate this and highlight the best of the best around the country.

Awards Evening - 30th October 2025
This award recognises an accommodation provider in Scotland that has gone above and beyond to welcome mountain bikers. The winner will demonstrate excellence in hospitality, facilities, and support for the riding community.
The judging panel will consider:
MTB Facilities – Availability of rider-friendly facilities (secure bike storage, bike wash, repair stations, drying rooms, etc.).
Rider Experience – How the accommodation makes mountain bikers feel welcome and valued.
Community Engagement – Contribution to the local MTB community, including partnerships with trail centres, guiding services, or local events.
Sustainability & Environment – Steps taken to minimise environmental impact and promote responsible tourism.
This award celebrates an outstanding coaching or guiding provider in Scotland who has made a significant contribution to supporting and inspiring riders of all levels. The winner will demonstrate excellence in professional standards, rider experience, and their impact on the wider mountain bike community.
The judging panel will consider:
Professionalism & Standards – Delivery of high-quality coaching/guiding, holding relevant qualifications, and a commitment to rider safety and wellbeing.
Rider Development – Supporting skill progression for riders of all abilities, from beginners to advanced.
Inclusivity & Accessibility – Efforts to make mountain biking more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for underrepresented groups.
Community Engagement – Active involvement in supporting the local MTB community, trails, or events.
Innovation & Inspiration – Use of innovative approaches to engage riders, promote responsible riding, or showcase Scotland as a world-class riding destination.
Feedback & Reputation – Positive testimonials, reviews, or evidence of strong rider satisfaction.
