These exquisite trails crafted by CRC Trails, are located on, and around, the hill of Pittenderich. The trails consist of sweeping turns, big berms, jumps and technical riding, with incredible views to boot! The ideal place to take your riding to the next level.

With a massive car park, amenities and the town of Tarland within riding distance it offers an amazing day out for all riders.

Ballater

Ride a mixture of the iconic Heartbreak Ridge, Mastermind or Green Mile trails combined with some of the lesser know trails and you are sure to have a great time. Scolty

An enduro riders paradise containing some of Aberdeenshire’s most challenging trails featuring steep slabs with a healthy dose of roots, rocks and off camber sections. With three local bike shops in the area, be sure to stop in by, grab any help you need and find out what trails are running the best.

Scolty

Pitfichie

Pitfichie could be called the home of both downhill and enduro racing in the North-east having hosted local and national level events in both disciplines. A stunning location featuring a mix of flowy single track down Cairn William, rough downhill tracks with lots of granite rock features and an abundance of enduro trails mixing the best of both!

Pitfichie was badly affected by the storms in 2021-22, and the required subsequent felling works. Most trails are back open and with the addition of Tombsteen and Phoneix, Pitfichie is most definitely still on Aberdeenshire's destination list for the ever grippy granite and community built trails.

With parking both at Whitehills and in the Village of Monymusk, where you will find a local bike shop, and bike friendly cafe for pre or post ride fuelling!
