I am exceptionally fortunate to be part of this team and am passionate about my role within DMBinS and our mission and goals. My main role is to keep on top of the public profile of the project, and the organisation of press trips and film projects and events, such as the biennial Scottish MTB Conference, the Gathering and annual Awards.
Communications and Business Support Manager
Having worked in a variety of roles, including conference organisation, and volunteering in a variety of mountain biking projects, I was delighted to take up this post in 2016. It was an awesome opportunity to work within an industry that I was passionate about and utilise my professional skills to help develop the public profile and benefits of the sport.
My role within DMBinS is primarily to provide the mountain bike community in Scotland, and across the world, with up-to-date information about our work and to promote Scotland as an awesome place to ride, through social media, working with MTB media and on filming projects.
I am also responsible for the organisation of the Scottish Mountain Bike Conference, The Scottish Mountain Bike Gathering and the annual Scottish Mountain Bike Awards.
I also work closely with Graeme on a number of core projects and the rest of our amazing team whenever needed.
