Trail Therapy at Comrie Croft

Comrie Croft has joined the trail therapy recovery community as delivery partners and after training from ourselves, are now delivering sessions. Not only do they offer some of the best trails, coffee, and cake in Scotland, but they are now providing free bike and helmet hire to participants of the MTB Trail Therapy programme.

Trail Therapy Comrie

What will folks expect?

The initial sessions at Comrie Croft comprised of a mix of purpose-built skills area, handcrafted trails and open Scottish wilderness riding through glens and between Munros. There was plenty opportunity to become immersed in the natural landscape and enjoy the breath-taking views of rural Perthshire under the guidance of professional MTB Leaders.

The 6-week block took complete novice MTBers and transformed them into competent riders able to ride blue graded trails. Fitness, confidence, and wellbeing were improved amongst participants with one saying “This (MTB Trail Therapy) has done more for my mental health and wellbeing than any drug or other type of therapy” – John.
