First up in our meet Team DMBinS - Our Colena

What’s your role within DMBinS? Comms (social media, press, newsletters, MTB publications), Scottish MTB Conference prep, Scottish MTB Awards, TCOYT, and film projects throughout the year. I also work closely with the Boss on a number of core projects.

Where do you live? Peebles, and I love living here.

How old are you? 52 and half

Children? Yep, 2 awesome ones. Jay 19 and Cam 14, going on 20

What’s your favourite food? Shellfish, anything spicy and I always must have tomato and brown sauce together on a breakfast roll.

Favourite place to ride? Tweed Valley off piste/natural, always. I’ve been lucky enough to ride in the Alps and didn’t die, but there is something very special about the Tweed Valley trails. An adventure from my front door even with no lockdown!

What do you enjoy away from biking? Spending time with my family. Cooking. Watching cooking programmes. Being outside. Ferry trips and Scottish islands. Scottish beaches and beach fires. Walking and trees, I like trees.

What’s your favourite bike? My new IBIS Ripmo – it's awesome.

Best riding buddy? My other half, Simon 😍

Greatest bike achievements? Getting the love for biking back after a yukky accident a couple of years ago, winning TweedLove’s Glentress 7 with my bestie Lynne Turnbull and taking part in a couple of the Red Bull Fox Hunts, exhilarating and absolutely terrifying 🐥

Bike kit cant live without? Eh my bike? That’s it.

Little known fact? I’m a Disney freak. Love Star Wars, Harry Potter and Christmas movies most of the year.
