Fee Wallace - DMBinS / NEAT Project Coordinator
And our final introduction of a new team member is no less than Aberdeenshire Trails Association stalwart, Fee Wallace. We were delighted when Fee decided to take a drastic career change and leave her career in Social Work and join us as the DMBinS / North East Adventure Tourism Project Coordinator.
In her new role Fee will be working closely with our Will, supporting the delivery of NEAT project across all areas of activity with a specific focus on enhancing the trail network and playing an integral part in the ambition to grow Aberdeenshire’s adventure tourism industry.
Fee will also work closely with the staff team DMBinS, and Opportunity North East alongside the volunteer committee of Aberdeenshire Trails Association. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure co-ordination of activity and work with numerous partner agencies, groups, and businesses to ensure future opportunities are realised.
We have known Fee for a good few years now in her role within the ATA and we were delighted for her when last year she won the IMBA Europe Trail Advocate of the Year (see image above by Pete Scullion). We are looking forward to working with her. In the meantime - get to know a wee bit about our Fee.
