Emma Holgate

I have been involved in the outdoor instructional industry since leaving school at 16, with an array of qualifications in many sports, and have been qualified as a Mountain Bike Leader for 19 years. Tutoring on leadership courses for the last 8 years. With the hope to be verified as a tutor for the assessment of the top Mountain Bike Leadership Award this year.

I also work in leadership with Scottish Snow sports during the winter, which bring with them extra considerations and hazard management to deal with, adding to my experience that is directly transferable to the biking world. I have also been known to race enduro and cross country, and holiday around the world occasionally with uplift but a lot of the time bikepacking big journeys.
